On January 8, 2021, Morgan Wallen released his second studio album called Dangerous: The Double Album. The “double album” idea started off as a joke between Wallen and his manager because so many songs had been created over the years. If you enjoy modern country artists who can do it all, Morgan Wallen is for you. Rather you enjoy the tik tok famous Somebody’s Problem and Sand in my Boots or the lesser known songs like Neon Eyes and Still Goin Down. The album is full of heartbreak, love, and country living. Wallen tells many stories through his words. If you listen to 7 Summers, found on the album, you will understand that.
Personally I enjoy the stories behind his music. More than my Hometown was one of the first songs written in the album and it shows how proud Wallen is that he came from a small town. If you scroll down to the storyline on Spotify you will often see that Wallen writes his own music with the help of his friends. While he doesn’t write all his songs he often has stories behind them. In the song This Bar Wallen writes about the memories, fun times, and not so fun times when hanging out with his friends at the bar. He says that, “I feel like we all find ourselves in different places in life.”
To kick off the year anniversary of the release of Wallen’s album he is beginning his Dangerous Tour. Starting February 3, 2022 in Evansville, Indiana. The tour will be coming to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri on August 27, 2022.
