Moving to college can be an exciting experience for many, but it also comes with its fair share of worries. One of the biggest worries can be what there is to do for fun in a place that people are not familiar with. Luckily East Central College (ECC) is located near by a multitude of places that offer options for socializing or exploration.
Just a five minute drive from ECC is the newly built “Piccadilly Palace.” This location has an endless amount of things to do including a golf simulator, go-karting, and even provides their own food for purchase.
Oasis Lanes provides not only the casual bowling experience that someone could be looking for, but also a “Cosmic Bowl” late at night with a glow in the dark style.
Sullivan also has the opportunity to sky dive through the company Skydiving STL. In Stanton not far from Sullivan, there is Wild Animal Adventures where you can pay to see exotic animals like kangaroos, dingoes, and even play with lemurs.
There is a lot more to do nearby Union if someone wants to make the drive up to St. Louis as well, like Top Golf, Cardinals games, Blues games, and lots more with a simple Google search to find.
The next time that someone is sitting at home bored, they can call up a friend and ask to go to one of these places for some unforgettable memories and endless fun and laughter.
