The ECC Student Government Association hosted their final student body meeting for the 2024-25 school year.
All current SGA officers are graduating and there will be a need to fill 4 positions: President, Vice President, Chief Recording Officer, and Public Relations Officer. Andy Klingensmith, director of student activities, would like to have President and Vice President roles filled up before the end of the school year. There were talks of a potential student mentor program during this meeting. The program could potentially help first year students integrate into roles on campus, that second year students already have. This will be further discussed by PTK members and SGA members.
ECC students are gearing up for finals. If students need to use the learning center for extra tutoring, they can go to the East Central College website and schedule an appointment. Students should not be afraid to talk to professors about the coming weeks at ECC.
