Early in the morning on September 5, 2028, 4 years ago Madison and Sam became that special person in each other’s lives. Today Madison will propose to Sam where they first saw each other for the first time, outside of the local hospital ER where Sam is an OBGYN while Madison is a paramedic. Madison is getting ready to leave the shared apartment to go get the proposal set, but first, she has to set up a note for her love.
Hey Beautiful, Happy Anniversary, I have something for you, I’ll meet you there, your sister Sawyer is going to pick you up at 12:30 PM. I will see you later and I love you!
Sincerely,
Madison
1 hour later…
Madison has set up the proposal spot with the help of Madison’s Parents Elizabeth and John as well as as her younger brothers Michael and Maddox Sam’s family is also there her parents Jennifer and William with her Older brothers and sister Hunter, Logan, and Mackenzie while her twin sister Sawyer goes and picks up Sam. All the families are hiding in the conference room in the hospital as Sam is about to pull up. Sam asks her sister “Why are we pulling up to the hospital.” Just wait and see, says Sawyer. Sam finds this very strange but she thinks about the day she met Madison four years ago, Sam was waiting for the ambulance to pull in with an incoming patient, once it gets there the ambulance doors flew open and her comes Madison got out and got the gurney out of the ambulance and looked up and Sam and Madison locked eyes and it’s been history since. Sam walks up to the entrance of the hospital where she sees Madison standing with a Lego set of roses as a cute way of remembering the jokes Madison would pull to cheer Sam up.
Madison’s POV
I see her walking up to me in a red dress and she looks beautiful. I still can’t believe she’s my girl and I’m asking her to marry me. I hug her as soon as she is close to me “Hi my love.” She replies with “Hi babe, what’s going on?” I smile and start to tear up and I start my speech “4 years ago right here we locked eyes and met for the first time, little did I know in the moment that would be one of the most important moments in my life as I had just met the love of my life, you are the most beautiful, caring, funny goofball ever and I love you so much and how much you care about others but especially for your love for bringing in babies into this world and how much joy it brings you and how you are always down for an adventure, you have stuck by me through all the good and the bad. When I was struggling to find my purpose and thinking the world would be better without me in it there you are making sure I’m ok and cheering me up making me feel like I am worth something, I don’t know how I would have gone through everything without you by my side, You make me want to be a better version of myself every day and if there is nobody I would rather spend my life with other than you, So Sam Rose Carter will you marry me?
“YES, YES, YES, YES I’LL MARRY YOU!!” says Sam. After celebrating themselves for a few minutes all their family members come out and cheer and do a round of hugs for everyone and celebrate their engagement and the love Sam and Madison have found within each other.
Two Years Later.
Sam and Madison just got married and went to The Bahamas for their honeymoon and just bought their first house together as a married couple and are so excited to decorate their own space and eventually expand their family and do life together. Madison still struggles with her mental health with all the negative thoughts and imagining a world without herself in it but she’s getting by day by day with Sam by her side she feels like she can do anything in the world so she is inspired to make a short film about mental health and how important it is and how to help someone going through a rough time no matter how big or small.
Four Years Later.
Sam and Madison have finally made it with a big dream of theirs, they are moms. They have two-year-old twins Asher Michael and Adelaide Victoria and Sam is also currently pregnant with their third baby and their second son who is going to be named Wilder William and of course an American Bulldog named Josie. Sam and Madison are enjoying life with their wonderful kids and the family they have built from the ground up.
Everyone deserves a love where you know you are not alone, and you can build a life together in any way no matter what it may or may not look like. People with mental health issues still deserve love, fighting a battle in your mind is not easy at all no matter what but it helps tremendously when we know that they are loved, and people do care about them the LGBTQ+ community deserves love and be cared for. Love is love in so many ways and we all deserve love. Everyone deserves to have that bond that can’t be broken.
